All of the units at Woodlyn Park are beautifully furbished self-contained and situated in the Central North Island, only 2 hours from Auckland, Rotorua and Taupo and just 2 minutes from Waitomo Caves, they are a "must stay" for your New Zealand accommodation. All units are fully self-contained with bedding and towels included. NB Please be aware that no one lives on site. If you are arriving after 5pm you will need to contact us the day before or the morning of their travel to Waitomo so we can arrange to have the unit ready and key available.

  • Peaceful, scenic area with unique accommodation.
    The train carriage certainly had the wow factor! The kids were amazed when they saw where we would be staying. Not only was it unique, it was also very functional and comfortable. After staying in hotels, we really appreciated the beautiful scenery and peace and quiet - the decked area gave us the opportunity to appreciate the stunning views.

  • Perfect for a family with kids
    We stayed in the train carriage for one night, and my three year old absolutely loved the carriage, and looking at the ship and the plane. The 18 month old loved going for walks around the farm and climbing up and down from the carriage. My husband and I loved the view, the quiet, sitting outside the carriage for a quiet drink after the kids were asleep, and the ample space in the bathroom.
