We are located in Jervoistown which is surrounded by country-suburban houses. Taradale village is just a few minutes’ drive which is also close to the wonderful orchards and wineries. Napier city and Hastings are 10 mins drive. We are a few minutes cycle to the bicycle tracks on the river side located from the guppy road entrance.
Entry to the house is a concrete ramp incorporated into the pathway. there are 2 ranch sliders.
Our self-contained holiday home has two bedrooms with quality beds for that comfortable night sleep. There is a king bed in the master-room and 2 king single beds in the other bedroom or a superking bed for a 2 couple stay. It has been designed with a sunny open plan living area opening out to a garden area. Flatscreen LED TV includes an USB facility enabling you to view your digital media.
The unit has wheelchair friendly access via the ranchsliders, doors and hallways. The kitchen and bathroom have been designed with wheelchair accessibility. Bathroom includes wet-floor area for the shower. The Kitchenette includes a dishwasher with cooking facilities comprising of a bench-top oven, microwave, electric frypan and electric hobs.
It has an integral single garage and off-street parking. The garage includes a washing machine and dryer. The unit is separated by two garages from the main house providing privacy and own access to the front gardens.
Your friendly host family are on-site and are keen to help with any local knowledge to ensure you enjoy your time in the Bay.

This house has been purpose built for accessibility, however there are no grab rails in the bath/shower rooms -
All beds have >130 mm gap to allow for hoists
Kitchen equipment is accessible from a seated position, custom built with lowered bench for elements and dishwasher draw
Toilets have distance of 700 mm from back wall to front of WC pan, and distance of 450 mm from the centre of WC pan to the adjacent wall to allow for commodes.
Basin is designed for wheelchair access so lower with mirror at available height.
There is a garden resin plastic chair available as shower chair
