• Peaceful and gorgeous
  Lovely cottages with everything you could possibly need, all impeccably clean and pretty. And so quiet! Just the sound of birds :) We loved the hot pools after the Coromandel Coast walk! The food was divine as well.

• An Unspoilt and peaceful getaway
  Stayed for 2 nights with 2 children, felt thoroughly relaxed. The cabin was very well appointed and had everything we needed. All our requests were met quickly and efficiently. Loved all the natural wood in the cabin and the way it had been furnished was very in keeping with the nature all around us. The waterhole swimming spot was amazing and like out of a dream.

  The lodges are absolutely top notch! felt like a proper house with all the facilities you need and the beach just 5 minutes from the place is lovely as well. Overall we will definitely be back once we get a 4 wheel drive as there is about 30minutes of gravel road travelling to the place. It is definitely a very long drive from auckland but was worth the drive to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city.

• A great place to stay to rest and relax.
  It is indeed a kiwi retreat. Friendly staff. Spa pools are great. Recommend a swim in the waterhole. A reasonably good selection of food on the restaurant menu. They make a good coffee. This area is a great example of an "old NZ" holiday destination - down a few kilometres of metal road, four small beaches that are all different and a small number of unpretentious baches.
