We started our trip to the north of Auckland. The well-constructed state highway 1 made it easy to drive through idyllic landscapes, passing the charming Warkworth and arriving by the sea. The accommodation provided by the lovely Jenny Crockett exceeded our expectations. The wooden holiday house with a great porch around the house, sleeping possibilities for three couples very spacious and pleasant. For us the main highlights were the stunning view over the harbour and the fireplace. The facilities of this accommodation made it easy to stay for a longer time. The fully accessible bathroom was featured with a fan heater which made it easy for my husband staying comfortable while toileting or showering. The entrance as well as the porch, both were accessible for wheelchairs and the cosy sofa invited for a stay in front of the fireplace. In our point of view this is the best accommodation which can be recommended in this area for disabled persons.
