Auckland Zoo

Motions Road, Auckland 1022

The Zoo is a great day out. Very easy to get around and something for everyone. Plenty of mobility parks out front and a lip free access throughout. There is a shop and few eating areas to sit down and rest in between exhibits. There are often guides out giving talks on various exhibits. Feeding at the zoo is always a fun time of day to get up close to the animals. You will often even see a cheetah or an elephant being guided round the zoo on one of their daily walks. A newly built area to the zoo is the New Zealand wildlife zone. This is a wonderful way to get up close to not only the New Zealand wildlife but the native bush. Kia's will get very close and its also a great place to see a real live Kiwi! Definitely well worth a visit!
