Imagine you are walking along a narrow walkway around the outside of the Sky Tower, high above Auckland. There are no handrails, nothing but thin air and the city 192 metres below you?
You've got spectacular 360 degree panoramic views of Auckland, its hills, the harbour and the islands beyond. If you look down, you have a perfect bird's eye view of the city far below.
Do you dare to SkyWalk the edge?
SkyJump is New Zealand's highest jump and only Base Jump by wire. You'll plummet 192 metres off the Sky Tower at 85 km an hour!
Our highly trained jump masters will rope you up and talk you safety up to the edge, until suddenly you'll find yourself balancing on your tiptoes, leaning out over the streets of Auckland far below. After that there's nothing to do, but lets go and fly!
We have created special equipment that allows visitors who are physically challenged to enjoy the thrill of SkyJump and Sky Walk.
SkyWalk can be undertaken in a special harness. You are lifted in a fabric chair designed for paraponting and with assistance of your guide, friend or family member you simply glide around SkyWalk, using the overhead safety system.
SkyJump can be modified so that the jump off and the landing is suitable for those who require some extra assistance.
However not everyone is able to participate, so please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will be able to help you decide if SkyJump and SkyWalk are right for you. If you are able to participate you may be asked to provide a certificate.
