My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to leaving Auckland. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel near the city with a lot of room. In full disclosure, I should inform you that I am a Choice Privileges member, and I have stayed in countless Quality and Comfort hotels around the world, mostly in the USA and Europe.
The room we rented was listed as 1 King Bed, 1 Single Bed, 1 Room Suite, Wheelchair Accessible. The room was as promised. This was actually a one bedroom suite, except for the living room couch was replaced with a single bed.
The living room had a flat panel television mounted on the wall, but the bedroom did not have a television. If you like watching television in bed, this room type is not for you.
The room was very clean. Accessibility features were as expected. The refrigerator was a bit larger than the normal hotel size. There were electric heaters in each room, which were a bit noisy, but heated the room adequately during the winter. Parking was adequate, but there were not reserved handicapped spaces in front of the accessible rooms.
The location of the hotel is a bit deceptive, especially for those who are not from New Zealand or Auckland. It is approximately 1 km walk to the nearest restaurant. There are very few delivery services for food. The hotel is in a very quiet area surrounded by offices and residences.
In summary, I would stay at this hotel again. However, I would prefer to stay at a location a bit closer to restaurants and shopping. Just a few more dollars could have put us in a better location for our needs. If I was recommending a hotel near the sights and sounds of Auckland, I would recommend other locations. If seeking a quiet spot, then this is for you.
