The building has plenty of underground parking although no designated disabled parking but they will arrange a space near reception on request.
The reception area is reached via several steps but there is a level door from the parking area into reception.
At the end of Jan 2016 my husband and I stayed here for the first time for 2 nights. I am very impressed and this began within 15 minuets of making the booking online. I received a phone call because I had asked about the bathroom situation due to my disability needs. The contact was to confirm that there are hand rails and if I could manage, (which I did).
The staff are among the best we have experienced within New Zealand. We are travellers so do have many years to compare with. On arrival we were quickly and warmly checked in, then able to park the car onsite, very convenient. The room was very clean, well furnished, small kitchen with every thing you could need, including plenty of spare bedding and towels, bathroom has a washing machine and dryer, very tidy, quiet and lovely out look toward the sunsets and Broadway. Many restaurants just over the road and many more around the corner. This is a place I will be planning to go back to because of convenience, near to city if you need, museum, art gallery, shops etc. We stayed on the 4th floor and the lift was always quick, quiet and never crowded. We had a friend come to join us for dinner on one of the nights and was they were graciously welcomed by staff who allowed them to park onsite and showed them to our room.(I had said we were expecting a visitor). It sure saved a lot of frustration looking for parking. We had no problem (our first visit) driving to the hotel and easy access from the motorway.
Do take the opportunity if you are going to Auckland, do make that booking and experience good quality accommodation at an affordable price.
